Barbara Walters, journalist and TV legend, dies at age 93


Barbara Walters, a journalist, TV legend and pioneering broadcaster, has died on the age of 93.

In a press release posted to social media, Robert Iger, the CEO of the Walt Disney Firm, stated Walters handed away at her residence in New York on Friday.

“She was a one-of-a-kind reporter who landed a lot of crucial interviews of our time from heads of state and leaders of regimes to the largest celebrities and sports activities icons,” Iger’s assertion learn.

She is survived by her solely daughter, Jacqueline Danforth.
